Trinity

The Triune God was revealed by Christ. This was not a change from the One God of Judaism. Jesus revealed himself to be God. He more than once declares "I Am" just as God revealed His name to Moses. Jesus declared that He and the Father are One and that seeing Him was the same as seeing the Father. Yet Jesus was fully human. The Apostles had no doubt that Jesus was both God and Man, One God with two natures: human and divine. If God has two natures while still being One God, it follows that there could also be three persons in One God. This is what Jesus revealed and the Apostles handed down to us. One God, two natures, three persons. Inseparable and consubstantial. Wherever the Father is, there also is the Son and the Holy Spirit. They do all things in perfect concert with one another, One Will.
