Liturgy
Liturgy comes from the Greek word for duty or obligation. The Divine Liturgy is the Mass. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass is the one, same, unique, eternal, irrepeatable, once for all sacrfice of Christ represented for us in space and time. The Sacrfice of Christ is a perpetual sacrifice that exists beyond the boundaries of time and space. For this reason His sacrifice redeems all who came before Him and after Him. Each Mass is an encounter with Christ and all who live in communion with Christ throughout the world. Each encounter with Christ assimilates us deeper into the mystery of God made flesh.
